Literature Text

Standing among the great seas,

Quietly enjoying the ocean breeze,

Listening to the sound of the waves lapping the shore,

Forgetting about her earlier chore,

Stretching out in the soft sand,

Dreaming of a distant land.

Letting the sun beat down on her face,

Allowing dense green trees to replace

The beach around,

Hearing the familiar sound

Of a rushing river, of scurrying feet,

Running to a rapid beat--

She groans and opens an eye,

A face blocking out the open sky.

"Not now, go away!"

"Will you let me say what I want to say?"

"No!"

"Too bad. So...

What were you dreaming?"

"About the place where I've been believing

That I wouldn't be disturbed!"

"Too bad... Oh hey look! A bird!"
Woo! My daily poem! This one is more for fun, and describes my two favorite places: the beach and the forest. And, of course I had to have someone come in to ruin the moment XD.

Done in... 7 minutes.

Note: The last line is supposed to be random. Couldn't think of anything that rhymed with "disturbed." Just something to pretty much ruin the moment again.
