PMMM Fencergirl

So back when I was a little fencergirl (about two years ago now), I made a version of myself if I appeared in the Madoka Magica verse (aka this fencergirl00.deviantart.com/ar… )

And since there's been a resurgence of my love of the series, in case you missed it in the SMV OT3 and Kath pics... I decided to redo the one of myself! Gone are the 'Murica colors, clunky armor, and whatever the bloody hell that weapon was supposed to be! 

So for the design, I wanted to keep the armor from the first rendition, just upgrade it and sorta-streamline it (because plate armor is SUPER clunky, change up the colors, and just generally improve upon it. That weird chain-spear-thing (admittedly a double-ended version of Kyoko's spear) is extremely impractical, so instead I changed it to a longsword. I do actually have a sword similar to this at home that I'm quite competent with, hence why I used that instead of my go-to rapier. Because let's face it, rapiers are sadly a dime a dozen in magical girl shows/fanworks -_- 

I went with these colors because this burnt orange is quickly becoming one of my favorites, and because if you take that darker blue and lighten up the orange to bright orange... HUP HOLLAND!!! XD 

Also, please excuse that weird blob around my left hand. It was supposed to be magic stuff. It didn't turn out that way XD

Anyway, personally I LOVE how it turned out! I hope you all do too!
